Failing to follow users with Track Tag Search

I have set up the function to follow users automatically every day if they have certain key words in the track tags, and I set it up to run daily. I also set up a function to unfollow users that fail to follow back after 8 days. The unfollow function is not a problem. The follow function doesn't work for me, because every day it runs it checks against the same/existing users instead of finding new users with the same track tags. Very frustrating. Example:
Search Users via Track Tag Search: "dubstep"
Max Number to Follow: 26
Repeat Every X hours: 24
Number of Repeats: 0
Random Pause: 15 to 100 sec
Stop Following: 0
Time Period: no selection
Only follow once: ticked
Play track before follow: ticked

hmmm. The problem here is the search routine is separate to the follow routine, so the search routine is unaware of what user / process has actioned the search.

It pulls the requested number of results required, but then as you have already processed this search and soundcloud returns the same results - it is no good to you.


I will need to have a think about how this can be implemented.

I wish I could think how this would work. Sounds like SC always returns top results for popular tags on top and there is no way to move down the list...

Just a quick, have added some backend code to try and handle this, but there was a problem, that I cannot remember right now that meant I wasn't able to get this finished.

Will put it back on the list for next week....
