Wish regarding the follow function

Hi,

I have a wish regarding the follow function. It's not a request, just a wish
I want to follow all people who liked posts from a certain search term. Check this screenshot:



I typed in "dog" in the search. Now, I don't want to follow everyone who posts dog content, but I want to follow the people who are consuming the dog content (the likers and rebloggers) which are listed under "notes". This feature would be so cool and powerful.

The follow option could also be extended with options like "Only follow people who reblogged content of your nice", "Only follow people who liked content of your niche". The goal is to narrow a niche down and not follow inactive accounts, bots or people who have nothing to do with my niche.

Wasn't aware of this feature, either I missed it or it is new. But is a good request (it is a request, really, isn't it? :-p)

Will add this to the todo list. I hope something can happen end of this week.

As usual, send me a reminder Thursday / Friday as my good intentions tends to pile up in a list of todo notes through the week and I forget what I have said I will do. If you don't remind me, then I assume you probably didn't really want the feature

Not at all, all requests gratefully received. Not all requests will be implemented, sometimes they are just too specific to a single user, but a lot of times the suggestions are great and I just hadn't thought of them.

This request for example, would be beneficial to a lot of users, and as (I think at least) is automation of a new feature of tumblr, would give tumblingjazz selling points over other bots, which makes more sales, which is good for me

So feel free to make all the suggestions you want. I won't lie and say I will implement them all, the ones I won't implement I will tell you . Others will be put on a list, the more people that want them, the quicker they get implemented

Here's your reminder Waiting for this feature to be implemented. When I'm doing it manually, I have as much as 30% of the people I follow following me back with this method.

Can do a notes scrape from the SCRAPE tab, and also fire it in an action from the FOLLOW tab,works best with the popular filter, as if you use the recent filter, not many of the posts have notes, but some do and you know they are all active so is still useful.

How well known is this search notes scrape thing? I might make a post on BHW, to tie in with the BST that just went out
