<edit>
The thread: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=9348 has more specific information on DB INSTANCES

--------------------------------

How does the Custom db Instance work?
I want to create a post image action that won't run with other actions (Like & follow) on the processor. In other words, i want the post image action to be by itself on the processor without having to delete other actions (like & follow).

It creates a new folder to store all your date

Go to the folder
%appdata%\rootjazz\

Now you will see "Tumbling Jazz" folder

Create a new db instance "test"

Now you will see the folder

%appdata%\rootjazz\Tumbling Jazz test

which is where all data will be stored.

But everythig is new, the instances have NO KNOWLEDGE of each other. The already processed logs will not exist, the actions will not know what the other instances actions are doing etc etc

Create a new db instance "test"
Should i create the "test" folder inside "Tumbling Jazz" folder?

%appdata%\rootjazz\Tumbling Jazz\test

no, just use FILE > CUSTOM DB

a new instance of TJ will open, the folder will be created if it does not exist, if it does exist, then the data already inside will be loaded

Can the NEW db instance have it's own processor items?
For example, if the ORIGINAL instance has like & follow items on processor, can the new instance only have post image actions?

This is exactly what I said, it is a new complete instance. Think of a custom instance as running on a different machine. Load TJ on one machine, then load it on another. You would not expect them to load the same data, show the same processes etc. This is how custom db instance works
