Hi. I've been encountering an error with the username availability checker for the last two or three days. The checker has been showing usernames that are either banned or completely in use as available. Up until recently the tool has been working fine, showing the accounts that aren't taken and filtering out the usernames that aren't in use but are banned. My version ix the testing version 1.822.

What I do to set up the checker is I paste the .txt file location into the "Check if usernames are available to register - enter filepath" bar and choose "scrape". Until these last few attempts everything was running fine. One thing I did notice is that it started occurring after I increased the amount of threads going on at once for the first time.

Probably tumblr have change how it all works. I will look into and get an update out tomorrow

Please provide me a list of examples that failed and you think shouldn't and were reported as available and aren't.

From looking at your logs (briefly) it seems to be correct as you are checking for domains such as "drums" / "ruth". It is unlikely something like that is available.


Plus you are checking 1000s without proxies, tumblr will be able to detect a single machine is hammering their signup routine and may block / ban you return false information
