I want to reblog and put a URL in the "assign meta" description but I don't want that URL to be an actual clickable link.

For example, say this was what I wanted to appear in the description of a reblogged image:

Come and see my great blog at www.google.com (copy & paste the address for instant access)

So I want the google.com to be the full address but not to be a clickable URL**, what html code can I use to negate the clickable hyperlink ??

Can you help me out please, anyone ??

I believe that is not possible as tumblr does the replacing.

you could try

google.com
google[dot]com


without http:// or www so maybe tumblr doesn't realise they are URLs
