Can not change Username with Update/View Accounts Tab

Hey,
So I'm trying to change a couple accounts Usernames/first and last names but when the action runs to change them (selected update Names and permalink only) it only changes the first and last name but not the username. At the bottom it gives this error:
"No error reason given by Soundcloud for fail - perhaps username in use?
* FAILED: Details update completed: (Username)"
I've checked the new username through soundcloud and tried multiple other usernames as well, but I can't find anyone using any of the usernames selected and it gives the same error for each of them.
(I am using the most up to date version of Soundcloud Manager)
