Messaging Error

Post by snowleopard »

Hi Martin + Community,

I'm experiencing some very strange behavior in regards to Messaging in version 3.042

First of all, Messaging is failing, with this error: "ERROR: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Secondly, SCM is displaying 900 messages sent in the last 24 hours

I only ever set it to message a MAX of 5 people in 24 hours....

Global is set to Max at 5 in 24 hours too.

It's also not true - zero messages have been sent...

Is anyone else experiencing these errors???

Thanks!

submit logs

HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

strange, I just performed 5 messages, and my logs show correctly.

Please perform the following:

delete existing logs
HELP > LOGS > VIEW
delete all files in the folder that opens

Perform the action:
***
restart app

Check your #messaged in 24 hours value: note it

message 2 users - run action to completion

ReScrape stats: what is #messaged in 24 hours now

***

PLEASE NOTE: Do not perform other actions at the same time. Only use one thread. Do not run any actions after this action.

Then submit logs:
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

and let me know the LOGS ID (just the number part is sufficient)

Please perform the following:

delete existing logs
HELP > LOGS > VIEW
delete all files in the folder that opens
Done.
Perform the action:
***
restart app

Check your #messaged in 24 hours value: note it
Now it says Zero messaged in 24 hours.
message 2 users - run action to completion

ReScrape stats: what is #messaged in 24 hours now
This is the part where it falls apart. No messages actually process.

* ERROR: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Pause for: 60 seconds

PLEASE NOTE: Do not perform other actions at the same time. Only use one thread. Do not run any actions after this action.
Did that.
Then submit logs:
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the quick fix! Really appreciate it.

I'm testing the update on my end and it's MOSTLY working.

For several of the accounts, messaging is going fine.

However for one of the accounts I am encountering this error:

* ERROR: Unable to cast object of type 'System.String' to type 'SoundcloudBot.Data.TrackDetails'.

Logs: 84425

Thanks!!

I cannot find that log in your logs

Please perform the following:

delete existing logs
HELP > LOGS > VIEW
delete all files in the folder that opens

Perform the action:
***
use the account and send a test message that will generate this error
***

PLEASE NOTE: Do not perform other actions at the same time. Only use one thread. Do not run any actions after this action.

Then submit logs:
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

and let me know the LOGS ID (just the number part is sufficient)
