But to find out why that occurs and fix it need some information.

What kind of follow (followers of / followed by / from list etc etc)

If can submit your logs, in the app select
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT


I am thinking it could be todo with Soundcloud killing off classic search today (or supposedly). It was still working for me this morning, so haven't forced an update to V2 only search as want to get that tested as well as possible before push it live.

I entered "theaermusic" in the follow followers of, have max # to follow set at 100, repeat every 12 hours, random pause 5-10secs, only follow once, stop following at 0, with my username selected.

I am sometimes a bit too cautious about switching testing to stable as I add new features every couple of days, testing never really gets a chance to be well tested for a week before I switch it to stable.

I have version 1.2.4.9 ( i just updated it this morning [unless it didn't update as I thought] )

The feature hasn't always given me errors. It did work once or twice. However, I prolly f'd with the settings and screwed something up.. I've uploaded a screenshot of my settings here:

Anything wrong in there? Maybe I need to delete the scrape file and try again?

The latest version is 1.263, so you are about 15 releases behind.

The issue I believe is to do with the account you are trying follower followers of. Soundcloud classic is buggy with big numbers and just bombs out (soundcloud.com problem, not Soundcloud Manager).

This is updated in the latest version to use V2 of soundcloud, which doesn't bomb out on big numbers.

I tested the above in 1.263 (latest testing version)

Try upgrading.

There is some new features, like search by tags, which will return lists of tracks just uploaded (some as recent as 1 hour ago) so you know you are interacting with users who are online and actively uploading tracks so more likely to check out users who follow them / like their tracks / comment on their tracks etc.

Soundcloud is meant to be killing soundcloud classic search today but it is still working for me (quite well actually) but it may be gone in a few days. The v2 tag search isn't as good, nor is the filter uploaded today. So I would use this whilst you can

Ok, the problem sounds like it is specific to your account. Something must be happening different with your accoun than the accounts I tested with. Perhaps soundcloud is sending a notification I have not come across before and should be handling in a specific way.


I will need to put together a debugging build for you that will dump out more information in order to pinpoint what is happening.

Is now 9pm here and I am finishing for the day (finally). So I won't be able to get the build to you until tomorrow morning (GMT-5hrs).
