Re: All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac
twitter been suspending accounts the last few days. It's nothing to do with the useragent, the useragent used in once of the most popular UA strings, used by the majority of all internet users.
Re: All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac
Ive been trying to find a way to change this as well.
"All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac"
I also use a multi fingerprint browser, and all the fingerprints are windows based. They don't recommend emulating a Mac, so I want to match the useragents. I can update the useragent and disable the autoupdate but twitter still says its a Mac when tiwtterdub signins and windows with the browser.

If you want to change the UA.
Turn off auto update UA
Turn off the other setting that downloads the new UA file as it's updated.
Then you can change the useragent for the account manually for it to be what you want

Re: All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac
Hey Martin.
I have both those options disabled.
useragent "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/123.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"
Twitter still says the device is a 'Mac' when tiwtterdub logs in.
Active session is my browser.
Mac = twitterdub

Both use the same useragent string. Nothing runs on mac.
I assumed updating the useragent would be all thats needed. I'm not sure why its not the case.

Same problem.
It seems that the UA for each account is not working.
It was working until maybe a day or two ago.

Re: All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac
I just noticed this thread after creating one myself about the same topic. Same goes for me. I have always turned off the default user-agent settings and set custom user-agents for my accounts but I'm getting logins from a Macbook (user-agent) now.smtek wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 5:12 pm Hey Martin.

Re: All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac
Hey, I'm still having this problem it appears its not possible to set the useragents.
Re: All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac
this only happens when the account automatically solves the captcha... try disabling the automatic captcha solution, solve it manually, and you will see that there is no such thing
Re: All account sign in with : ChromeDesktop on Mac
I don't have auto captcha enabled as far as I know.
Can you let me know where that setting is, I've only found captcha services under settings tab, which I don't use, and tools->settings->arkose which doesn't seem to be it.
