Click VERIFY LOGIN

Program will prompt you for the code when requested by twitter - go get it from the email and submit it to the app

For which reason do I need the Auth Token? Does this help too maybe?

Auth token is just a cookie, it used to let you login without logging in, nowadays, it may, but it may not. Full cookies are better, or auth_token and ct0
