seems SC have changed the cloud front end, which is blocking IP ranges. If SCM cannot cannot access soundcloud.com on the machine, then it cannot scrape the IDs required.

lots of reports from normal users about this issue. It isn't just SCM


If you can access Soundcloud.com on the machine you are using SCM, you should still be able to use SCM.

In the mean time, let me see if I can find a solution...

Is it possible to route access via proxie to soundcloud.com when we run / work with SCM ?

Mayb its temp error or not, that should help.

Tested some other resi proxies wich ones working in current situation.

try this, it will solve the scraping issue of IDs on load. Whether your proxies will still work, that's an unknown

P.S. And yeah, i saw downdetector reports.

add a file:
default_proxy.txt

in the file enter your proxy:

IP:PORT
or
IP:PORT:USER:PASSWORD

and the default scrapes to get the IDs on app start will go through the proxy. But the update above should resolve this issue.

If your proxy can open the soundcloud website, it should work. But I think lots of IPs are not blocked - according to reports
