Is Instadub dead?

Post by jadsn »

Hey martin, I understand your focus is on Twitter these days, but just wanted to confirm if there's an update planned for this at any point.

I've been using Instadub on and off (even though it's been wonky), but worked good enough for my needs. I tried running some tests today, and can't even run a basic scrape. I noticed it's been 5 months since the last update, so wondering if it's just best to look for other alternatives at this point and move on.

I have exactly the same questions in my mind. Martin, if you do not have a shedule for an update, I would recommend removing the Tool from Sale on your Website, since this is just not fair for new customers. Also to all your customers that have paid for your Tool already, it would be respectful to let them know if they should go on and look for something else, or if there is any update in sight.

Thanks!

Yeah kinda feels like a slap to the face when I've been recommending them for years to my circle or on forums. I first bought TumblingJazz but purchased Instadub without hesitation just because of the support Martin provided was top notch, and probably the best from any software/tool I ever tried.

Seeing it still up for sale gives me some hope, but still strange to see considering even this subforum doesn't get updates or responses from Martin anymore. At least some sort of announcement so we know what's going on would be nice.

Yeah its pretty much dead for now until the developer decides to work on it again. Currently he is not.
