got this email:
will need to think about how to handle it within TDDear customers,
We used to keep our rates unchanged even when the load is extremely high. We always try to make sure we have enough capacity to handle the load in advance. Unfortunately, we surrender with this new ArkoseLabs captcha, as sometimes it takes up to 4 minutes to bypass one single challenge. We pay our workers with the rate of 1.5 USD per 1000 solutions and they refuse to work with funcaptcha and even quit working. So we decided to change our approach starting on Monday.
This is how it will be from now on:
1. Now there will be different rates for different pair of hostname-key. The difficulty of ArkoseLabs captcha vary for different websites. For example, Tinder captcha could be solved for 25 seconds, while bypassing captcha on Amazon takes 115 seconds. Twitter has different keys with different solving time.
2. The rate for easy captcha will be lower! It's not very common, but now the rate will start from 2 USD per 1000 for easy captcha tasks.
3. We have added max rate setting in your Personal cabinet. Default rate is 2.99 USD per 1000. If you are sending requests for captcha with more complex tasks, you should set a higher bid on this page: https://2captcha.com/setting#bid-limit If the current rate for the captcha is lower than the one you've set, you will be charged on the current rate, not the one you've set as max rate.
4. The tricky part is to realize what is the rate for the captcha you want to bypass. There are two ways to figure out:
First. Send us a request with json=1 and in return you'll receive a JSON with the rate. You can send a test request like this:
https://2captcha.com/in.php?method=func ... 3AB&json=1
And get a result like this:
{"status":0,"request":"ERROR_NO_SLOT_AVAILABLE","error_text":"Your bid is too low","funcaptcha_bid":0.02099,"your_bid":0.00299}
The rate is indicated per 1 solution in your account's currency.
Second. Send a captcha request and then visit this page:
https://2captcha.com/setting#bid-limit
There you will see the rates for all pairs of host-key you have sent today.
5. The rate will be recalculated once per day. If the complexity of the captcha lowers, the rate will follow. Also the rate could be lowered if the amount of workers increased.
