posting duplicate images when checked unique

If I now "redo" that process it will duplicate the previously posted images and then continue on till it reaches the daily total I noted, for example if I ask it to post 20 images and it posts 10 then starts to fail, if I stop or close TJ and then restart it, it will AGAIN post those 10 images and then the following 10, meaning it has posted the first 10 images twice and then the last 10 images once, making 30 in total.
When an image is posted, a CRC of the image file is taken and stored, this is a unique value for a file. This list of previously uploaded images *SHOULD* be checked prior to upload.

If it is the EXACT same image, then it shouldn't upload again, HOWEVER, if the image has been saved again, altered, resized, qualty changed, it is NOT the same image (from a coding point of view) thus will be uploaded.

I would need to see the logs showing for the issue to try and figure out more

martin@rootjazz wrote:I didn't want to post your blog names to a public forum. It is a warning in the logs that say the blogname YOU entered doesn't match the blog name as found on the dashboard page after login. I doubt it is the cause of all issues, but could be the cause of some issues.

Process of elimination, fix the known / logged issues. Run the process again, then we can have a good at identifying what remains
It's because I have one main blog and three sub blogs, they're all under the main blog login, they don't have seperate logins, so for all my blogs there is only one log in, so I think it is not a cause of any of these issues.

When is this CRC taken ?

If the process fails or stalls, will it still take a CRC and store it, what if I cancel the process ?

You'll also notice that the blogname warning gets resolved as it normally does because of what I said in an earlier post above.

That could be it, although I use sub accounts all the time and haven't noticed, could just be me not noticing it. I will test this and confirm...

It was cancelling the action that was the cause. This forces the action to drop out before the logged CRC were saved to disk. Fixed this so it will be in the next update

That message shouldn't be possible.

blog-name: main account blog name
email: your email
password: ....
secondary account name: secondary account name

with settings as such, the warning shouldn't occur. Can you double check how you have setup the account

Set up what account, double check what ?

tumblr or tumbling jazz

tumblr works fine, I'm there everyday.
TJ works intermittently which is why I'm here everyday.

With in TumJazz.

IF you setup the account WITHIN TumJazz
blog-name: main account blog name
email: your email
password: ....
secondary account name: secondary account name
That notice you are getting, should not occur. So if you double click the account in the accounts list in TumJazz, can you check what you have entered as the account details.

Changed the primary name to what I now know to be the primary account, do I leave the secondary account details blank, as I have 3 "secondary" accounts.
