Bitly links no longer posting correctly

Hi Martin,

I have noticed all my accounts create the correct bitly link (cAsE SenSitiVe) but once they get posted in the process they all come out lower case rendering the link useless and it gets a bitly 404 error.

see below (I just updated to the latest twitterdub version)

seemingly the last upper case letters get converted once posted but they are correct upon creating the link.

Could you look into this when you get time?

I tried it with other links and it seems to be the same problem, the link I have in the message for example twitter.com/XME will be posted as twitter.com/xme all lower case, so it's not just with bitly but with any links.

submit logs please:
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the numbers are sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)


And I will try and dig out my bitly API keys and run some tests, nothing has changed this side, so perhaps bitly has changed how they should be interacted with...

it's with the latest update, ALL links (google,twitter etc..) all post in lower case only despite what you put in the message to post, so for bitly it means all lower case creates invalid links but like I said even putting GOOGLE.COM/xXxXx in the message, it posts as google.com/xxx , so I checked as this is the case with all links on the latest version (I just updated from 3.3.9.164). I have now downgraded to it and all links post as they should (lower/upper case)

latest version, posts correctly, text in the tweet shows upper / lower and the twitter redirects to the correct link as well.
