About the traffic problem of proxy IP
I manage 30 accounts and send a tweet every 30 seconds, is it normal to use 600M traffic in an hour? How to reduce traffic usage
Re: About the traffic problem of proxy IP
are you posting a tweet every 30 seconds on every single account? and are those tweets or tweets with pictures / videos?halibote01 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 12:13 am I manage 30 accounts and send a tweet every 30 seconds, is it normal to use 600M traffic in an hour? How to reduce traffic usage

Depends what the tweet is, images / video / text?halibote01 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 12:13 am I manage 30 accounts and send a tweet every 30 seconds, is it normal to use 600M traffic in an hour? How to reduce traffic usage
30 accounts, sending 2 tweets a minute, that's 120 x 30 = 3600 tweets combined, that's 100k per tweet. I imagine if you would use a browser to do that, it would use a lot more.

The tweets I sent were random English words + twitter video links in pure tweet mode

I assume the bandwidth isn't just outgoing but incoming data? Twitter returns a lot of data usually.halibote01 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 8:25 am The tweets I sent were random English words + twitter video links in pure tweet mode
But let me run a test, on what is required.
The account will "login" (or confirm cookies)
Do a timeline pull
Do some other data requests that happen regularly
and the the tweet post itself
The login / cookie check shouldn't happen every time as will be cached, so maybe it does seem a bit high. But let me run some tests and get back to you
