Browser Bridge module issues / debugging

Post by martin@rootjazz »

If you are having issues getting the browser modules to work.

Test if everything is installed correctly
Tools > Browser > TEST BRIDGE FUNCTION....

This should display a black CMD window with a "SUCCESS" message. If not, that's the issue, then go through the below steps

First, check dotnet8 is installed:
TOOLS > BROWSER > CHECK DOTNET8 ~INSTALLED

If it is not, you will be prompted to download it from the microsoft website

Next we will manually install the browser bridge files:

TOOLS > BROWSER > FORCE INSTALL FILES

Now we update to the latest stable version
TOOLS > BROWSER > CHECK FOR UPDATE

Now we install the browser
TOOLS > BROWSER > FORCE DOWNLOAD OF BROWSERS

--------------------------------
Then check the browser bridge version
TOOLS > BROWSER > BRIDGE VERSION

and confirm everything is now working:
TOOLS > BROWSER > TEST BRIDGE FUNCTION....

If that all looks good, try a test action with a single (1) account performing one (1) item.

example: VERIFY LOGIN:

Code: Select all

Goto the ACCOUNTS tab
Check the account
Uncheck option to USE EXISTING COOKIES (if option exists)
Check Force
click the link VERIFY:LOGIN

This will create an action and send it to the PROCESSING TAB
Goto the processing tab and click RUN. The action will run.
You can double click the action to view the logs and submit logs.

If still have issues, check to see your browser version:
TOOLS > BROWSER > BRIDGE VERSION

and see if there are any testing updates:

Tools > Browser > rollback / install >

If there are more recent versions available, try the latest version, it could be your issue has been fixed on a testing update and not made the default yet
