Firstly, check if the proxies are working, then something on your machine is blocking the access to the app. If your proxies are working from a manual check (or you not using proxies)
Reports this week, anti virus (windows defender) or app security (smart screen) on windows updated for some blocking the app.
Disable them and confirm if that is your issue.
* Windows Defender
* Smart screen / app security
Help on how to disable:
viewtopic.php?t=12813
If the program works with these programs disabled, one of them is the cause.
Please check your anti virus / security software and make sure the applications program files folder is whitelisted and / or all the .exe and .dlls in that folder.:
c:\program files (x86)\twitterdub
also the python TLS browser:
%appdata%\rootjazz\twitterdub\python\python.exe
is whitelisted and / or all the .exe and .dlls in that folder.
If the above does not help. Restart app and machine.

Re: TLS waiting for file issue: March 2024
Been having the same problem for weeks now as well. It's not an anti-virus or firewall issue. I've disabled everything and nothing works. This error message continues within Python. I personally believe it has something to do with that.

Re: TLS waiting for file issue: March 2024
Most people confirmed it was the above.hovdeliani wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 3:02 pm Been having the same problem for weeks now as well. It's not an anti-virus or firewall issue. If not for you.
1) update:
https://rootjazz.com/twitterdub/updatetesting.html
Restart machine.
Run ONE action to verify ONE account. Do NOT do anything else.
If the issue occurs, and the machine is not blocking you, it's the proxy. Export the account and send it to me for testing:
Code: Select all
support[at]rootjazz[dot]com
It's either a block
bad proxy
It cannot be anything else
Re: TLS waiting for file issue: March 2024
Martin,
Is not antivirus, or firewall issue, I am running 50k accounts and sometimes I get into this problem
I have the same problem, and in order to fix it i simply close the program and open it again and it woks for some time, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours
When I see the: "TLS waiting for file" then I simply restart the app
Logs 82058

Re: TLS waiting for file issue: March 2024
Different issue then. Some people definitely are having AV / security issues. But if it works THEN stops working, it's a different issue.
Next time try this:I have the same problem, and in order to fix it i simply close the program and open it again and it woks for some time, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours
When I see the: "TLS waiting for file" then I simply restart the app
Logs 82058
TOOLS > PYTHON > SET PROCESS IDENTIFIER >
Enter any id, doesn't matter what, just some test:
example: 12984361287
If that fixes, I know what the problem is (not why, but what it is and we can take it from there)
Regards,
Martin

I'll see if I Can better detect it and auto update the process Identifier
