Change the follow limit

Post by Bri »

Can't seem to change the follow limit.

see below, it doesn't make sense, they are both different numbers, but only 1 account on the bot.

21:54:18: xxxxxxxxx Account Daily limit: 390 follow
21:54:18: Daily limit: follow for account: xxxxxx 290/290

logs: 60080

bot version 3571

Hi mate, hope you are well, thanks again for your continued support with the software.

here are logs for the latest process, I tried to remove the accounts follow limit so that the program will use the global numbers, but it doesn't seem to be working, am I missing something?

Global Daily limit: 391
Daily limit: follow for account: 291/291
* STOPPING: Processed more (291) than daily limit: 291
You can change the Global Daily Limit via the 'SETTINGS' tab and Account Daily Limit on the 'ACCOUNT DETAILS' form (double click account in accounts list to view form) THIS DIDNT WORK FOR ME.

logs: 52160
version 3.5.9.4

bump, still not working Martin, something is missing or wrong, the numbers don't add up

Account Daily limit: 390 follow
Daily limit: follow for account: 290/290
* STOPPING: Processed more (290) than daily limit: 290
You can change the Global Daily Limit via the 'SETTINGS' tab and Account Daily Limit on the 'ACCOUNT DETAILS' form (double click account in accounts list to view form)

Daily limit: follow for account: 290/290 is wrong, I can't find these numbers anywhere in the program. I need to change this setting to follow 390 per day / 24 hours

Something worked, I'm seeing a change, but the numbers still don't add up,

logs: 53923

08:48:24: username Account Daily limit: 390 follow 👍
08:48:24: Global fluct daily limit: 100
08:48:24: Daily limit fluct apply (stored): 490
08:48:24: Daily limit: follow for account: username 9/490

Global fluct daily limit I believe is set at 0. I can't seem to find this 100 figure, to me it is set at 0.
The limit I want to choose is 390, I've been following 390 accounts per day for a long time with no issues.

when changing Account Daily limit, do we need to restart twitterdub for it to take effect?

ok so we now know WHY the limit changed. The program has stored the vaule.

When you apply a fluct, it needs to apply it once, then store it for the action. So perhaps in the past you DID have a global fluct set?

When you update the global fluctuation it does not affect the actions where it has already been applied - HOWEVER - that should be for the duration of the action, on completion it resets, next run it recalculates. Seems like that is NOT happening and that's the issue...
