Hello!
I purchased the software yesterday and attempted to set it up to follow the followers of a specific account.
So I put in the url of the twitter account, set the random pause from 1 to 9. Num threads - 1 Max actions - 1000
I didn't touch anything else. My understanding is that if you have a verified twitter account you can follow up to 1000 people per 24 hours?
So I run it, and within a few follows, twitter sends it has detected unusual activity and makes me change my password.
What am I doing wrong? And what are the most effective settings to follow others safely, daily.
I am not doing this for bot accounts, it's actually two accounts I use and I just want to grow, so really don't want to get them banned.
Thank you!
Follow settings and limits.

Re: Follow settings and limits.
You cannot follow 1000 people a day. Ignore the limits you read online. People don't do that, especially on a new device, especially with a 1 to 9 second pause.Lacidious wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2023 3:44 pm Hello!

Start slow and build up.
Where are you running the app? At home?
After how long did you get the warning?
Re: Follow settings and limits.
Yah just using it on my home PC. It was within probably 5-10 mins max. I just decided to wait to try it again until I got advice. I have around 10k followers currently.

Hi,
If I want to get (scrape) the followers of an account in the settings, it is recommended to 5k.
If I use 5k and repeat the operation, can I still get the same followers?
How do I not get duplicates?
Or what should I do?
Similar to other operations where a certain number of TDs are recommended.

input: @target_profile
Custom Search steps:

Max Results = 5000
Output type: URLs
The scrape will repeat from the beginning each time and return duplicate resultsIf I use 5k and repeat the operation, can I still get the same followers?

Re: Follow settings and limits.
However if you perform a search on an ACTION SEARCH tab, for example FOLLOW TAB
There is the option "Stop search if find previously processed items"
Check this and the search will stop when it finds a previous result.
So if you pull the most recent 50 results on action 1
Then next time you run the FOLLOWERS of search action, if the profile has 8 new followers, you will scrape those 8 results, detect previously processed items, then stop the search

Martin
