Hello, I want to do a simple task but i don't know what is the best way to do this. The video tutorials seem dated and have a bad quality.
This is what I want:
1. follow a specific twitter account
2. like and retweet EVERY new tweet INSTANTLY with 500 of my imorted accounts, the likes and retweets should start like after 1 minute maximum after the tweet is posted
3. the like to retweet ratio should be 100/75, so for every 100 likes there should be 75 retweets
4. this should run 24/7
What exactly do I need for this?
Which configuration?
How many threads should I use with 16 GB RAM and i5 8400 2,8 GHz?
What would be the estimated montly price for proxys for being able to do this simple task? Which proxys are best for this usecase? Everyone says something different, it makes me crazy.
Simple task too hard for twitterdub?

Re: Simple task too hard for twitterdub?
Use MASS FOLLOW
Instantly not possible. Also if you are going to use the same 500 accounts to like and retweet every new tweet "as fast as you can". It doesn't take much to figure out what you are doing and get your accounts banned.2. like and retweet EVERY new tweet INSTANTLY with 500 of my imorted accounts, the likes and retweets should start like after 1 minute maximum after the tweet is posted
You can monitor the usertweets, scraping the feed every (n) time period and if any new, then they will be acted on. BUT, again, pulling the feed, constantly again not a great idea. You will need to accept a time frame longer than instant / 1 minute. But test and see what you can get it down to
Set the numbers as you wish. 500 likes and 75% of that for retweets3. the like to retweet ratio should be 100/75, so for every 100 likes there should be 75 retweets
don't turn your machine off4. this should run 24/7

Start from the above, work your way through, ask any specific issues you have.

Up to you, keep in mind my warning of doing the same thing at the same time with the same accounts every time. It's a massive footprint and will get you blocked / bannedHow many threads should I use with 16 GB RAM and i5 8400 2,8 GHz?
500 proxies, one per accountWhat would be the estimated montly price for proxys for being able to do this simple task? Which proxys are best for this usecase? Everyone says something different, it makes me crazy.
There is no best answer here, hence you don't get the same answer. Honestly, you need to test test test test and see what works for you. Don't try and over plan. Get started and start testing / learning as you go. Don't start with 500, it will just be frustrating. Start with 5/10 accounts and build up
Good luck

Martin
Re: Simple task too hard for twitterdub?
Thanks for the fast reply.
Again this is what I want to do:
type in twitter account url to "watch" -> watch every 3 minutes for new tweets (only from now on, older tweets should be ignored completely) -> if new tweet available like and retweet from 50 accounts (choose "random" and put in 50?, "max actions" should be 0?) -> repeat this 24/7 (how do i configure this?)
Could you help me please to find the perfect configuration for this?

I meant that I only want to "watch" one specific account and always autolike and autoretweet the newest tweet of that specific account. Don't need to follow multiple accounts, just one.
That's fine, 3 minutes would be good enough. That's possible to do without getting banned fast, right? So how exactly would I go about retweeting every new tweet of a specific account? Should I use mass retweet with "retweet newest"? I tried that but it also retweeted older tweets from that account, which I don't want. Maybe I should use this instead? I'm still confused about which way would be the best for me.martin@rootjazz wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 5:42 pm You can monitor the usertweets, scraping the feed every (n) time period and if any new, then they will be acted on. Or maybe I should use "watch action"?martin@rootjazz wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 7:42 pm search retweet tab
CUSTOM search: LATEST TWEET OF (not recenttweets)
This will pull the LATEST tweet only, it will not step back
MASS RETWEET is more about you telling the program EXACTLY which tweets to use, if you use a profile, it will try the latest, but it will be unique and the unique check is the profile.
If you try RETWEET ALL NEW TWEETS OF on the mass tab, that will stop when you have processed an item already and won't go back.

Re: Simple task too hard for twitterdub?
ah ok, you mean "monitor".
You can use MASS RETWEET with PROFILE MONITOR option on. This will scrape the latest tweets with selected accounts. That's fine, 3 minutes would be good enough. Or you could use WATCH USER FOR NEW TWEETS - which allows you to specify a list of proxies to perform the scrape with and allows you (in theory) to scrape faster with less risk BUT requires you to have a good pool of working proxies.

There is no "perfect" way. If there was, the program wouldn't need to give various options. It depends.
Do you have a pool of proxies to use for the scraping? If not, use MASS <action> with MONITOR PROFILE option.
If you do have a pool of proxies, then let me know and I can give more info on WATCH FOR NEW USER TWEETS should you need it.
Or have a look at the tabs, run some basic tests with a couple of accounts and get a feel for how they work and what may be best for you
As always, any specific questions you have, ask away
