Feature Suggestion/Request

Hi,

It would be nice to be able to reblog from a chosen Tumblr blog(s) without having to scrape, download to
folder, use as watch folder. Maybe have the option separately or under the RSS feed option without having to
modify all that stuff - if this makes any sense lol. Just select blog(s) you want to reblog from, maybe have the option to select
tags and reblog. Or enter Tumblr RSS feed you want to reblog from, that way a tag from a specific blog could be reblogged easily:
abc.tumblr.com/tagged/xyx/rss.

Problem with scraping, downloading and setting up a watch folder is that 1. it seems like too many steps to go through and 2. images from photosets get
separated and reblogged individually. Being able to easily reblog from a Tumblr blog or RSS feed would solve that as the entire post would be reblogged,
photosets intact.

scraping images to folder and uploading, doesn't allow you to reblog the images anyway.

I think the feature you want is on the MASS REBLOG tab, reblog all posts from blog.

I will check out the mass reblog, but can I enter a RSS feed URL?
What I am really suggesting is an easy way to reblog/post/whatever we want to call it from a Tumblr feed.
Why? Because I don't necessarily want all the posts from a Tumblr blog. Sometimes you just want the posts from a certain tag
or you want certain posts from one of your blogs to beef up another blog.
As I said before, the ability to easily post from: abc.tumblr.com/tagged/xyx/rss

no you cannot enter a feed, it is a reblog all from blog

ok, so things are making sense now.

Still, you cannot reblog from feed / or like. The functionality just isn't there. But you can POST FROM RSS feed. If you goal is to add content, this would work. If your goal is to come to the attention of the other blogs so they follow you, it won't work.

Let me know your goals, and if posting, I can help you spec out the RSS ELEMENTS, if not, will have to see about adding RSS support to like / reblog.

Just enter the tag searchURL into the MASS REBLOG box and check the Reblog all new posts.

The url will work in the next version even if you do include the trailing /rss

Okay I guess if I had to choose between posting and reblogging, I would choose posting from the RSS for my purposes.
Good to know that I can at least reblog for now with the tag searchURL, thanks I'll try that.
