Yes.
The blog name is used for various functions. Not all but some.
Top of my head, I cannot remember what the app does, update your blog name or just warn you. Best you double check your blog name for that account and make sure it is right
You want to enter the blog NAME not URL, so if your url is
http://rootjazz.tumblr.com
you enter
rootjazz
