New user of Twitterdub need help

I recently ordered TD and tried to do some IM after I got massive Tumblr accs banned (unable to find solution), but TD is not as simple as Tumblr ( though I thought TJ was really difficult at the beginning).

I have an OAuth/API key problem now, and I read through the support section, found a lot related threads but can't find the solution.

FYI, I am not familiar with Twitter, as well as TD.

I bought hundreds of non-pva twitter accs, input to TD with proxy. Then I found TD need something called OAuth/consumer key, and it can be generated from PVA accs only, so I went get another PV-account, generated OAuth/consumer key and input. The account information tab has an option: Use Global Consumer keys. So I thought one consumer key is good enough to run all the accounts, and OAUTH should be the same.

But when I set it up and try to update accounts, there is warning information popup:

xxx account has not been authorised for the global API client application, please generate the OAuth token for this account .....

So, my question:

Only PVA twitter account will be accepted by TD?

There is an option: Use Global Consumer keys, so I suggest TD accept all. If so, how should I do?

I submitted the log: 47952. (but I don't think you can find any thing there. I did the update, and no logs generated)

thanks

You did almost everything correctly.
Yes, Twitter ( all the social platforms are different ) is a bit different and TD is different too. TD runs through twitters API.
So, To help you -

Answer 1) No, You don't need PVA accounts - not mandatory.

PVa accounts can craerte their own APP ID - app secret where non pva accs can't.

aS the bot needs 1 app that will authorize the account and provides a token and that token will be used by TD.

Let's amke it simple as 1 2 3...

Just have 1 PVA account -
Make an twitter app and give permisiion correctly ( all data can be found and i think you have seen them already)
Use those app creadential in TD > settings tab > input credentials > save

add all pva - non pva accounts to the bot ( is fun :) )

Now in order to use any of them - you need to first authorize them.

Goto TD > View accounts tab > select 1 account > click authorize > goto processor tab > you will see the authorization process > completed.

Now you can do actions ( whatever you like :) )

There is an option: Use Global Consumer keys, so I suggest TD accept all. If so, how should I do?

Hello

It seems simple acdg to your guide, but it's not working. What I did again and again:

1. Global consumer API keys input and saved under setting tab.

2. View accounts - check one non pv account - click Authorise Accounts - Failed

Logs submitted: 31787.

One more question:

Need ONE consumer API key and set global;
Also need Oauth key, but no need to set global, and also no need setting for every single acc?
(Sorry if it's a stupid question)

Yes. It is easy.
2. View accounts - check one non pv account - click Authorise Accounts - Failed

One more question:
Can you please post your real time logs?

Please goto > view accoubts tab of TD > check 1 account > click authorize > goto processor tab > double click the processing item. copy all the text and paste them here.

These are called real time logs

Need ONE consumer API key and set global;
You can set 1 consumer key globally and use accross accounts.
Or you can make consumer key for each account and use them.

Oauthkeys are obtained after authorization. When you authorize an account to the app - the app provides tokens and that is saved by TD. Very simple. You will understand if you click on real time logs of any verification action.

Your log says that the bot

Can you try with other accounts?
Is this account 2 factor authentication activated?

This could be due to internet/ account proxy/ account quality.
Can you please try with other accounts?

I feel this TD totally not work for me.

The first version installed is v1.426. I installed it in a VPS (which a TJ is installed, work fine).

I input accs and proxis (some backconnect ipv4 residential proxy), and verified profile, so far so good.

Then I found it cannot authorise accounts. (As said above).

Meanwhile there was an updated version v1.430, then I downloaded it and installed, and tried the procedure again. Then I found this version CAN'T do nothing, including verifying profile / verify login. I thought it might be proxy problem since proxy are rotating. But I tried different kind of proxy, same result. Meanwhile, I manually checked proxy and login via proxy, no problem.

Today, I tried the latest version v1.432. Verify profile /part of verify login are functional, but still unable to authorise accounts.

Procedure:

Verify login to make sure proxy working --- done

I am not sure what to say here. There is nothing that can cause these type of issue as i was using TD and without any issues..

Procedure:

Verify login to make sure proxy working --- done
Unlock callback URL -----Failed
Authorise accounts ------Failed
Let me check

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
How did you try to create unlock url?

I have just replicated this call back url issue and i see the call back url unlock is done by the bot without any issue.

Please understand that call back url unlock is needed in order to work with api key
FAILED: request token request: 401
https://api.twitter.com/oauth/request_token
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<hash>
<error>This client application's callback url has been locked</error>
<request>/oauth/request_token</request>
Call back url is locked and so authorization is not done.

Can you please try to login via browser and setup the call back url, from locked to unlocked? in apps.twitter.com ?

I am asking admin to watch the logs and the log number has been sent to admin. Please be patient.

Yes. As long as your api key is set to global api settings.
But, twitter api has some limits so please try use less accounts with single app... :)
