Chat message very slow
Chat message very slow
Hey Martin,
I am using 100 accounts and I want to send chat messages.
Tumbling Jazz Chat
# Threads: 100
Chat Once Only: yes
Share Across accounts: yes
Random pause: 1 - 2 seconds
Max number to ask 2000
Global limit chat messages: 20
# thread @ processor: 100
I would expect this action to take less than an hour but it takes more than 24 hours! I am running an action right now with these settings and only have send 91 messages in 40 minutes. What can I do to solve the problem?

Re: Chat message very slow
What do your logs show? They should explain why it is slow. Perhaps many chats are failing as you cannot open a chat with them?
Re: Chat message very slow
I don't get many status 403 so that is not the problem. Most people allow chat. It looks like only 1 thread is used instead of 100

Hello,
I don't know how did you select the accounts and thread
The main reason of 403 is the tumblr is not receiving the chat( either your message action is blocked - or - the message content is blocked - or the person is set to receive only from his followers)
Code explanation below -
403 - Code means your request is forbiden
502 - Network eroor/Bad gateway/faulty network
429 - Crossed the limit
404 - Not found
Also, please send the log of the action you are performing.
Also, 1 - 2 seconds random pause is not healthy for tumblr !
Re: Chat message very slow
I have been testing it.
1 account
1 thread
20 messages
5 - 10 seconds wait
takes 5 minutes
but! If I create 25 individual actions like that, it takes ages (processor set at 25 threads)! So I think it's more of a memory thing. I got 4GB ram. It is my RAM or is it because TumblingJazz uses 32 bits?
I have 1000 accounts and want so send out 30k messages every day (so around 900k a month). Is that possible with Tumbling Jazz?

Did you set thread count to 25 in processor tab?
Better idea is make 25 action with upper settings
Set processor thread number 25
Run
It should do it.
4GB ram is enough i guess, though.Do it and let us know.
Re: Chat message very slow
threads in the processor are indeed on 25.
What do you mean by 'upper settings'?
