you can specify to have / not have your keyword match in the following ways
keyword:
soundcloud
You may want this to match
http://soundcloud.com
If yes, check URL MATCHING, if not uncheck
You may want to match
#soundcloud
@soundcloud
If so, UNCHECK STRICT, if not, CHECK and ONLY soundcloud word is matched
Likewise, you may want to watch for
@rootjazz
and NOT detect
rootjazz
#rootjazz
so check STRICT
Stream / Watch / Track Tweets - strict - url matching

#soundcloud
@soundcloud

soundcloud
Will STRICT ignore #soundcloud and #soundcloud?
Post-edit: probably not, but you can set a (blacklist?) filter that contains both '@soundcloud' and '#soundcloud' (but not 'soundcloud').
2nd post-edit: the "Ignore Words" function is for words in the BIO that should be ignored... At this point I don't know if ignore means 'blacklist' or something else (though this is not essential to my question).

Don't know am confused myself. I think I got it muddled above.bitcoin wrote:If I want to matchYou may want to match

Will STRICT ignore #soundcloud and #soundcloud?
STRICT will ONLY match what was given:
so input: soundcloud
check strict
and #soundcloud @soundcloud are IGNORED
if you want to match them all, UNCHECK Strict,
that makes more sense, but not what I put.... I'll check
Ignore means Ignore the tweet if any words are present, so perhaps like your definition of blacklist

Re: Stream / Watch / Track Tweets - strict - url matching
corrected OP.
to ONLY match, check strict
to match any # or @ uncheck

haha - I got a programmer confused. I feel like I'm winning here! Trump style!! :geek:martin@rootjazz wrote:corrected OP.

Kidding aside...
So the word BIO is wrong and should be replaced with ANYWHERE (BIO/Tweet/...?)Ignore means Ignore the tweet if any words are present, so perhaps like your definition of blacklist :)

double win for you, you are winning bigly now, so much winning. You confused me again. There is USER FILTER: IGNORE. This will only use BIO.bitcoin wrote:haha - I got a programmer confused. I feel like I'm winning here! Trump style!!martin@rootjazz wrote:corrected OP.

There is also IGNORE on the stream watch keywords form, that will ignore if ignore word found anywhere

Re: Stream / Watch / Track Tweets - strict - url matching
how do I delete a kw from the list?
Re: Stream / Watch / Track Tweets - strict - url matching
select it, press Del key (or right-click and delete selected; but that option often is broken - a bug report will fix it)

Re: Stream / Watch / Track Tweets - strict - url matching
for the "user filter", the item "location" what is the data that is looked at to determine a match? the user Bio? the geo IP location of the tweet? what is the form of the data, just a city or province or country name? And one final question that you will likely ridicule me for: does the keyword in the keyword list(s) [throughout the program actually] need to in fact be ONE word or can it be a 2 or 3 word phrase (IOW have spaces in between the 2 or 3 words) I know that is a very basic KW question sorry.... I know a hashtag is one word but what if I wanted to use a 2 word phrase like "large women" ...I know, I should know this but I dont (and your examples in the vids were all single word keywords so I cant tell).
and I know I said no more but I do have ONE more question - I see how to stream/watch and then perform actions, but the action I want to do is reply with a posted video clip (OR an image) also not just a spintax text comment /w URL....how would I nest a video clip (or image) WITH the spintax text / url reply....? I know how to post a video using the "post youtube videos" tab (or tweet image tab) but now how to embed a video clip as a part of the stream/watch/reply functionality
