Hello martin,
I think I have found a new issue on Twitterdub.
Sometimes I have my twitter accounts locked. And to unlock, I need to change my password. When I do that, I change in the bot too.
Other times I have my twitter accounts locked and to unlock I need to verify phone number, twitter calls me and gives me a code to unlock. This happens very often, but today I notice that most of this accounts, have the old password saved in the bot. So I add new password again and click Save, but when I come back after a few minutes, the password is wrong again.
This happens only with a few accounts. I am noting the account names to see if this happens always with same accounts.
Does anyone have this issue?
I have 34 twitter accounts in the bot btw.

Re: Password saving issues
Are any of the accounts currently running actions when you update the passwords? If so, this can cause overwrite issues.
If you start the app (without running the processor). Then change the passwords, do they "stick" then?

Let me try... I will give you my feedback soon.
Re: Password saving issues
Didnt worked... I closed the bot completely.
Opened the bot again, changed old passwords to new passwords without running any actions
Run Processor
After a few minutes, old passwords are back again...
Sounds a new issue

Re: Password saving issues
1) so you double click an account
2) the account details form shows, you change the password, click save
3) if you then open the account details form again. The password is the NEW PASSWORD
then after X minutes, when you repeat (3) it is the old password?

Re: Password saving issues
But you had actions for this account in the processor? If so, I think this is the issue. As I test and test with no actions in the processor and the password holds.Opened the bot again, changed old passwords to new passwords without running any actions
What actions do you have in the processor (if any). I have check through some and all have code to protect against what you report (and in my tests did) so probably there are some actions where this is missing, that I haven't found yet

I have around 3 actions in each account:martin@rootjazz wrote:What actions do you have in the processor (if any).

Should I delete them and create again?

Re: Password saving issues
checked those and they seem to be ok. They should not rewrite the account settings IF they are "waiting" in the processor.I have around 3 actions in each account:

That would probably be the quickest way until can figured why this occursShould I delete them and create again?
Re: Password saving issues
Hello again martin,
Still regarding this issue, today I restored my data from a backup, and when I run the app, I notice that almost half of my accounts had the wrong (old) password. I was thinking, is there any way to update those passwords directly in a file? (accounts and in actions too).
This is very annoying... thank you buddy!

Re: Password saving issues
No, not possible. Also no way to bulk update passwords either.
