Mass Reblog: SUCCESS but if you open the link = Not Found

In the log it tells SUCCESS, but when you open the second link after the word "to:" by hand in browser,
it tells "Not Found - The URL you requested could not be found." - First link is working fine.

The steps i did:

checked reblog recent post if blog provided
nothing other checked

num threads: 1
checked all my blogs at bottom
and clicked "Mass Reblog"



Versions tested so far with the same problem:

Logs:
1.7.0.8: logs_66889

So it seems for me at any bigger event coming up, tumblr needs to change something and the program is broken again.

I have just checket it but with url given in field (mass reblog , one url to mass reblog) and mass reblog incest - it works fine today , on newest beta. Didn't check it with urls in filepaths yet

Reblogging posts with links is footprint. Doesn't matter you are doing this via TJ or manual...

Thanks for all your tests. I just tried to reblog one url with link at 1.7.0.8 and 1.7.0.4.
Still the same issue, it says SUCCESS in Processor, but when you check the new reblogged post its

"Not Found
The URL you requested could not be found.".

Reblogged a post without any links it is working!

Hello, i have already tested. My conclusion is tumblr ghosts from now on banned link domain bloposts at reblog.
Also if you post banned domains your blog will just be terminated after the click on post straight away.

Hi, I'm not sure I understand you properly.
You think that if your blog A trying to reblog posts (from txt files, scrapped when they are worked) from already banned other blog , then blog A will be banned just after that attempt ?

I had a situation like you with reblogs. Logs said Success but url to new reblogged post didn't work, but I can replicate this action right now, but trying with working posts.

What kind of link was that? Direct link to affiliate program? They ban links to most popular affiliate programs.

Seems like you have it mostly figured out.


But just to reiterate.

If you reblog a post with a link and it fails to load into browser
a) test it with the proxy of the account that should have reblogged it (this will show if is ghosted)
b) reblog a normal post without a link
c) reblog a post with a normal link to something nothing to do with you, facebook / a random page

from the above, you should be able to work out exactly what tumblr is doing.

All TumJaz does is reblog, then extract the post URL from tumblrs response, so it SHOULD exist...

.) If tumblr banned your own domain and you try to upload and link with picture to it your blog will be terminated. You can bypass that termination when using bitly links.

.) If you try to reblog a post where your own banned domain is linked, it will tell SUCCESS in TJ, but if you try to open the new posted tumblr link, then its "Not Found - The URL you requested could not be found.". This is also not only TJ related. If you reblog by hand in browser it behaves also the same.
So tumblr modified the script to not reblog if the domain is on blacklist, but behave like that it posted.

.) There also exist simple wordfilters in tumblr, which leads to terminate blogs when posting.
