I just noticed that tumblr is using the old signup system again without a yahoo universal account and with the old recaptcha.

Are you sure that isn't for OLD accounts (non universal yahoo accounts - not @yahoo but have access to the yahoo services?

confirmed, the new signup method and login method are now outdated and not working.

I knew I should have waited for things to settle down, seems I got it all working 2 days before they changed it again lol

Will revert back the signup routine and investigate a new login module
