Add to List: IMPORT

Post by martin@rootjazz »

Bulk create ADD TO LIST actions with a CSV import file in format

Code: Select all

list_url, filepath, acc_username, results_per_search[optional]

results per search not required, if not present 30 results per search is default: so format allowed:

Code: Select all

list_url, filepath, acc_username

where filepath is a list, one per line of profiles to scrape followers from in a multi search format, so if you pass in a filepath of
profile_1
profile_2
profile_3
a multi search is created, that scrapes the
followers_profile_1
followers_profile_2
followers_profile_3

Excuse me.
What does "results_per_search [optional]" mean?

I want to set the followers of the account in the filepath to be added to the list, how do I enter "results_per_search [optional]" in that case?

How many results will be scraped for each search. It's optional, so you don't have to specify. If you don't, the default 30 results per search is used :-)

Thank you for your reply.
Does that mean that import Add TO LIST cannot set detailed conditions like Multi Search?

Not with IMPORT, it's a very specific import.

If you want to set a PER ACCOUNT search / custom search / multisearch you can. It works just like the FOLLOW action.

However, as you MUST set a LIST_URL which is specific to the account, you can only do one account at a time.

Select acc_1
Enter acc_1_list
Set the search anyway you want (same as if you were creating a follow action)
Click ADD TO LIST

Works same as the follow action, only different is, instead of firing the FOLLOW USER function, it runs the ADD USER TO LIST function.
