Hey Martin,

I am receiving an error when trying to log into an account for the first time. Twitter Dub displays the message:

Validate account failed: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path '', line 0, position 0.: USERNAME
FAILED VERIFY:

Information:

TwitterDub 2.0.3.4
The account is not logging in, it's a new account, see the error above.
Manually inputted an account using the Add Account function - I tripled checked login credentials and private proxy.

Logs: 95321

- I added about 4 accounts and only this account displayed the error above, the rest is processing fine.

I think you are suffering from old useragent issue causing a redirect to mobile twitter instead of expected.

All accounts having this issue, update the UA
check accounts
right click
update useragent

it shouldn't happen any more with new accounts as the default useragents have been updated to the 10 most popular UAs as of last week or so. So probably we are good for another 2+ years (which is when I think I last updated them
