NEWFEATURE: Advanced search

If you want to build an advanced search from:
https://twitter.com/search-advanced

Image

Specify your search above and click search.

The results page will show similar to:
Image

Goto the search box and copy the search text, it will be something like this (your inputs depending)
soundcloud techno -rap #techno near:"London, England" within:30mi since:2017-08-01 until:2018-08-02
Use that as your SEARCH INPUT in twitterdub for advanced search capabilities for TWEET SEARCH

Couldn't we always already do that?

No. You could build a custom search JSON string to represent "most" options.

But now is easier and you can just do it in your browser and if twitter adds options they will automatically work without me having to do anything to add them

no, but the above screenshots should be clear

build your search
on the search page results, copy the search field of your options (highlight)
then paste that into TD

Hi Martin,

I was trying to extract all the tweets that I had using the following string:
(from:meisshaily) until:2021-12-31 since:2014-12-01
but it gave me no results for some reason.

In the Tweet Filter, I had checked Original Tweets only and Between 0 and 1 for Likes, Retweets and Replies.

and I have emailed the log to you as well.

Cheers,
Shaily

Replied to email.

Log indicates there were (2) results and saved to a file path (sent via email).

The others were ignored due to filter, scan log file you sent to see why program ignored them.

Regards,
Martin
