ReTweet ONLY original tweets, not replies

I've tried, retweet and mass retweet, both seem to rt my replies, and i dont want that, its unprofessional. looks very spammy


Please fix this, as im wasting time, grabbing the tweets i like, then creating a rt from .txt file, to rt from, very time consuming..

I'd rather just use the ReTweet or MASS ReTweet to do this for me, BUT I DONT WANT IT TO POST MY REPLIES.

There is a filter. Original Tweets Only

However this was added to avoid actioning on RETWEETS, am not sure if it works with replies. I will test / confirm and push an update if required (update is already coming today so will be today)

Was there a push/change to the software because of this? I'm now retweeting retweets from specified users (Retweet action -> From List [using a list of user account URLs]) which is causing a major problem - I don't want to RT their retweets just originals. Never saw this occurring up until the last few days.

Right now I'm going through every single Retweet action and re-doing them, setting the Original Tweets Only filter to ON.
Not fun.

Edit : This is the reason for my thread I marked as IGNORE. Not solved, but at least now I know I have to set this in the filter for each RT action.

Is that issue still alive?

not on my end, unfortunately its still doing actions on 'replies'

It shouldn't.

So either the setting is being lost, or it isn't detecting it is a reply. Let me confirm and get back to you

Original tweets filter working for me, ignores replies + retweets. I'll add some logging that will show for sure what is happening. Update be ready later today

I just noticed this thread again today. Yes, it was an issue as I noticed a few accounts still retweeting retweets even when I had the option checked to retweet originals only.

I've installed the update posted today and will monitor to see if it's still an issue.
