I am not sure if you are ok with this. But if you have 2,3 accounts you could send me your database folder and I could run your actions here, checking each and every step, ensuring each action is recorded in
a) the db
b) reflected in twitter.

I am aware this issue is long running for you, and besides asking you to run test after test until we locate what is happening, it might require a bit more time.

ok I can see what is happening

you provide multiple inputs: profiles / tags

the program works out how many it wants from each.

so if you want 200 followers and provide 10 profiles / 10 tags (20 inputs) you want 10 results from each.

However, the program is failing to find enough for each search to meet the targets.

Seems like the default filters are restrictive (but they aren't: ignore default avatar: <100 followers no tweets in 14 days.

also is returning a lot of results which have already been processed. which a profile input > followers of search will do...



I don't want to reduce the filter, as there isn't much point just processing more for the sake of hitting your limit, when the users you follow are wasted.

I'll make some changes and we can test how that goes

I'll be able to test it tomorrow. Have to go for the night. Yet my only question.

Why does/did it stop? If it's able to pull 150 every night, the results are there, why wouldn't it just combine those results to meet the limits.

Seems to be working...hitting close to 200, which is better than 0 the past three days

splitting results wanted over profiles / hashtags
check total results instead of tmp_results and stopping the 2nd lot of checks early

I didn't pick it up as for testing was just testing hashtags, which didn't have the issue (nor would just profile searches)

Still not resolved. There are two, separate issues in this post.

As explain in Instadub forum, seems the daily limit databases seem to bleed over. Even that 29 plus 311 equals my max of 340, how do you explain that? So, on the 20th, I don't get to follow anyone? And Instadub promo and Twitterdub promo are different, according to you.

This is still after all your updates.




I also started looking at an account that followed 0 for the day!!

I picked a random account in the logs, can you explain to me why Twitterdub filtered this account? TheSecretLawofA?

Cause he's been tweeting every single day. 1000 times a day. So, if the program is been filtering people it shouldn't have, how do I start all over and make it delete the accounts that shouldn't have filtered and them follow them again? I said it was too restrictive, probably cause it doesn't seem to be working. Make it optional in promo mode for now.
