Submitted my logs #48613
Manually completed Auth key & tokens but failure to authorize.
Double checked by manually logging into apps.twitter.com, that was successful.
Suggestions?
Failure to authorize
Re: Failure to authorize
I'm noticing the same kind of problems... Maybe Twitter changed something again?
Not only am I having problems with TD, my custom bot to post RSS tweets also found itself this morning with completely new API keys... Which made no sense at all. Curious what the next few days will bring!

Re: Failure to authorize
I'm new to the program, and having the same issue here. Haven't even been able to try the functions yet because of this.
Re: Failure to authorize
Can we get an admin to help here? I paid for this and have been unable to use it so far.
Re: Failure to authorize
Martin will get to it, no doubt. He already told us in other posts how busy he'd be these 2 weeks; even feature requests are paused and backlogged.amyc1225 wrote:Can we get an admin to help here? I paid for this and have been unable to use it so far.
Please be patient - I'll have to be too (and yes; it's annoying a.f.)

Re: Failure to authorize
you created the APP API KEYS incorrectly. You didn't set the server URL
check the forum post guide and / or the video tutorial. IT should be called something like CALLBACK URL / SERVER URL.
Or get the program to create the keys for you

Re: Failure to authorize
Sorry: I thought this was for me - old remark: I'll check but as you know I haven't been adding accounts manually... Why would I?

Re: Failure to authorize
Removed my API Keys and selected Global keys. Still won't authorize.

Did you add that fake URL? It MUST begin with http://amyc1225 wrote:Removed my API Keys and selected Global keys. Still won't authorize.
I usually use backlink URL:
http://localhost.com

Re: Failure to authorize
Submit logs again, but are your global keys created correctly?
As the issue was the API KEYS as created in apps.twitter.com, were not setup correctly.
IF you also setup your global keys in teh same way, they would have the same issue.
