Pause between error results

Post by alexliff »

Hi Martin !
I hope you’re well.

I’ve noticed a sequence after which I get my account blocked for
“Your account may have been compromised by a website or service not associated with Twitter.”

I’m not sure I’m right, but maybe it helps you with the next updates.

I start following by a list (I made one). Set the pause 10 - 25 and it works fine with success actions.

Code: Select all

* SUCCESS (36): https://twitter.com/******** user: ********
Check for pause: 10,25
Pausing for: 24
Paused for: 24 seconds
If I get this:

Code: Select all

* FAILED to get ID from : https://twitter.com/*********
* SKIP: Exception of type 'LibUtil.ExSkipItem' was thrown.
* IGNORE: https://twitter.com/*********
Process: 246/18467 : https://twitter.com/*********
Loading previous db logs: 1549c655-4fe4-43a6-bd56-6cb08842eebe_Follow
Loaded previous db logs: 69507 within 24hrs: 62
Daily limit for account: 800 - processed: 62
Processing: https://twitter.com/********* with user: *********
Using acc: ********* on: https://twitter.com/*********
Follow: https://twitter.com/********* using: *********
* FAILED to get ID from : https://twitter.com/*********
* SKIP: Exception of type 'LibUtil.ExSkipItem' was thrown.
* IGNORE: https://twitter.com/*********
The program stops making pause, and keeps going with this till makes the success action.

I don’t know what kind of mistake it is, I think I may have already followed this user or some other reasons. But these repetitive actions may cause accounts blocking.

Is it possible to set the pause between errors results?

I hope you may understand my theory :)

To be more specific I'll try to explain it in the order:
1. Starting following with the pause 10 - 25
2. Checking it after ±20 minute and there were ± 40 successful actions.
3. After next ± 10 minute I got an email from twitter about blocking.
4. Checking a log I see ± 240 failed actions in a row.

So the program made ± 200 failed actions within 10 minutes and Twitter doesn’t like It :)
It seems to me the failed actions have to follow the set pause. It may help.

As always,
Thanks for your time and support!

It could be, the problem is, the reason it doesn't pause between skipped items is that everyone asks that it doesn't. People feed the same list into the program and want to skip instantly the already processed items. Usually this isn't a problem, but something is with your action.

However, I cannot tell from the log snippet you have posted. Can you submit full logs so I can try and find the root cause of the issue

HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

Thanks Martin !
I'm sorry for the delay with the answer, but this problem has disappeared... Now everything is ok.

I've noticed one account constantly gets blocked and this account is first in the list. Everytime I follow or unfollow I create a process with this account at first.

I just start running this account in the end, and this problem doesn't bother me any more :)

Maybe it doesn't have any sense... Just sharing my thoughts :))

glad it has kind of "fixed" itself.

If it does come back, then submit logs and we can take it from there

Hi Martin !

Today I've got one of my account blocked again.
"Your account may have been compromised by a website or service not associated with Twitter."

I've submitted logs 44178.

I get accounts blocked time to time doing the same setting every 24 hours.
I don't think this is the problem of the program any more, but, maybe you will find something interesting :)

Will be thankful for any advise.

All the best !

Thanks for the update Martin !

Could you check the download link please, it doesn't work. Also, the download link at the regular download page leads to 1286v instead of 1288.

Looking forward to getting the updates!
Thanks !

yes its fixed now....
bro,
can't you make a mega mass feature on twitterdub too???
and let us make mass comments to a specific tweet by simply set the comments list....
and also need that option " Each comment will use once only"....

and the most important is incest follow feature in twitterdub...

by the incest follow accounts look more real and they don't get suspended easily....

so you feature requests in order of importance:

1) Mass incest follow
2) mega mass
3) when commenting (mass / normal) option to use comment once. Is this not already possible with the "unique" option?
