Re: unable to get goo.gl shorten url to work
Thanks Martin.. its working now, the problem was with the password/api key, I used the password instead of the username/api key
btw, whats the diff between (bitly) and (bitly-rand)?

Re: unable to get goo.gl shorten url to work
log into bitly and get a bitly for your domain name
it will always be the same bitly
if you want to get a unique bitly for the SAME URL, you need to add some randomness
https://rootjazz.com/?a=1209381092
https://rootjazz.com/?b=1283091283
all will point to
https://rootjazz.com/
but will give you a unique bitly, that is bitly-rand

Re: unable to get goo.gl shorten url to work
well, does that mean using (bitly) will always use bit.ly while (bitly-rand) requires a domain ?
also, when adding more than 1 bitly account in the settings, will TD jump to the next bitly account automaticaly if one reach the limit?
because I used another bot and got "rate linit" error message displayed within the tweet!!
Thank you

Re: unable to get goo.gl shorten url to work
((bitly)https://rootjazz.com/)
will always equal:
http://bit.ly?a=09876
Whereas
((bitly-rand)https://rootjazz.com/)
will ALWAYS be a unique bitly URL
if you enter bulk bitly details, then a different account is chosen at random each time

Re: unable to get goo.gl shorten url to work
I have a large text file with urls in some of the lines.martin@rootjazz wrote:you put that in your tweet text (for example)
OR let me know what you are trying to do - where you want your randomised link to appear
how can I shorten all exisiting urls in that file without modifying the urls in the file to be ((bitly)url.com)
knowing urls in the file contain different domain names.
Thank you.

you would have to do it manually
