Search & Retweet Not Working?

So I have been trying to do a custom search and retweet and it does work for the first few accounts and then it wont for the rest.

Like it will complete the first 3 accounts then the rest the retweets dont show up on the accounts even though it says "completed" in the processor. Also I get a SUCCESS in the activity log for the first 3. It shows *Ignore in the activity logs of the accts not retweeting.

Also it keeps adding the same quoted retweet message accross all the accoutns.


I just cant get it to run smoothly for all the accounts it stops retweeting after a few.

Also what does "Unique items per account" mean?

Please, read through this post and submit your issue accordingly. It just helps me understand your issue without having to investigate just to figure out what the issue thus giving more time to solve the issue and carry on improving the programs.

In this instance, I would need to know
* what search are you performing
* # of accounts
* is it shared action
* how many comments did you add
* any specific other options


include logs

submit logs
HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

Also what does "Unique items per account" mean?

Perform the action once

so acc1 will only ever retweet tweet1 once, even if you try and do it again in the future

Search Keyword: Dogs

Number of Accounts: 200 (only did 5 accounts to test it out)
Is it a shared action? Not sure what you mean by this
How many comments: 20

Unique Items Per Account Checked
Like Checked
Max Actions: 1 (not really sure what max actions means)
Repeat Mins: 7
Max Repeats Daily: 300
Quoted Retweet Added

Problem: some accounts are posting the retweets and some are not

What I am trying to do is quoted retweet by a keyword. I have 200 accounts and I want each account to quote retweet up to 300 tweets a day. I want each account to quote retweet a unique tweet so they are not all retweeting the same tweet. Also retweeting a random comment I used out of the 20 entered (repeats dont matter)
Is this possible?

Is it a shared action? Not sure what you mean by this

Max Actions: 1 (not really sure what max actions means)

shared action, is where you check the shared action box. Meaning, if you search for 100 items, those 100 items are shared between your accounts, so if you selected 5, that is 20 per account: 20x5 = 100

If you did not check the shared box, then I would expect to you have 5 actions in the processor - one action per accout

You then specified 1 max action. Meaning: retweet one post

You are performing a localised search of recent tweets. Along with only retweet a post from a user once, even if twitter returns 10 of their tweets in the results. That is what the logs says

Accounts that don't post the retweet will say this:
* IGNORE: Unique artist filter: Already returned once for this result set

you have already retweeted a tweet from that user - ignore it, check the next user. I would imagine, that eventually, you would come to a tweet that belongs to a user that hasn't been retweeted yet

so firstly you want to SHARE ACROSS ACCOUNTS. That way, when actioning, the accounts work as one. acc1 will not retweet a tweet if acc200 has retweeted that users tweet previously


Also, according to twitter the radius is not unlimited, they say a maximum of 1000 sub regions will be used with regards to the radius. I do not know what this means, I imagine a subregion is a point, so only 1000 location within your radius is included

I selected Share Across Accounts like you said and now im getting this error:

Targeting is like this: {"hashtag":"keyword","search_type":"recent"}. Settings are the same as before. I dont have a location set so Im not sure why its pulling up google maps

Please describe the EXACT search you are trying to perform, specify EVERYTHING you select / check. As the search URL is being built incorrectly

So first I press "Select All" to select all the accounts im using. I copy the built search term I made and it looks like this:

My keyword is lil wayne

and I paste that into the box/form on the retweet tab. From the dropdown box I select "Tweet Search"
I select share across all accounts
Unique Items per account is selected
And also the "Like" checkbox is selected
"Random pause" boxes are both 0
Repeat hours and repeat # of times are both 0
Num threads 1
max actions 1
Repeat Mins 7
Max repeats daily 300

Comments are added into the quoted retweet button. Also multi comment mode is selected
Comment are added in this format:
Comment 1
Comment 2
Comment 3
ect.

Tweet filter is selected and "Unique Profiles" is selected.

All of my settings are finished so i select "Retweet" and the process is added. I click Run and I get the errors:

But if that is hte search you want to do, you can do it via the CUSTOM BUILD SEARCH

search type: TWEET SEARCH RECENT
then just enter: lil wayne in the search box, no need for the JSON formatted search


but that search itself is working fine for me. Not sure why not for you - would need your logs as requested
