Can't do image posts

Post by major48 »

I am not able to do image posts. When processing every tweet fails so I just cancel the job before it runs too long. When I double click on the process I just get "ERROR: Unable to extract "errorCode"".

Exception: BitlyDotNETException
Unable to extract "errorCode"
That is the cause I believe.

Please check your bitly API details and ensure they are
a) entered correctly
b) valid and working

better checks have been added to detect and report out a more descriptive log of the cause

Ok in the settings you ask for the API username and password. I have tried entering my login for bitly and the api client ID and Client secret and I still get the same error

I finally got it to work. I just bypassed using bitly because I realized I wanted the same link posted everytime anyway. Then I got a different error so I just used another account to create a new api and now it is working

Strange, it "sounds" like your bitly was locked / limited or something. If you logged into their site with your details, did a message display?

Or if it is working now, we can ignore it :)
