I am running a campaign and for some reason during the action "Search Unfollow" never stops running which means no other process runs for that particular account. when I double click on that action to view the log their are no errors and it seems to be running but it has been running for days now.

Re: Search unfollow runs for days
Did you not set a max limit to the unfollow?
I saw one action with: 1914 unfollows, with what appears to be a 30 -60 sec pause
so (1914 * 45 secs ) / 60 = 1435 minutes / 60 = 23 hours
so add some time for the actually processing, maybe your pause is higher.

Well I am just doing the daily promo. It does not give you all those optionsmartin@rootjazz wrote:Did you not set a max limit to the unfollow?

Re: Search unfollow runs for days
ok, didn't realise that.
Am not sure if that should be happening then, I will have to investigate

Re: Search unfollow runs for days
so it turns out the MAX value was not being set on the promo unfollows.
However, if you were running the program 24x7, then it would be impossible to unfollow more in a day than you unfollowed.
day1: follow 100
day2: follow 100
day3: follow 100
day4: follow 100
day6: follow 100
day7: follow 100 - unfollow 100 from day1
day8: follow 100 - unfollow 100 from day2
day9: follow 100 - unfollow 100 from day3
day10: follow 100 - unfollow 100 from day4
etc (there is a 7 day wait to unfollow)
That was the logic behind no max value. However, obviously (now) if you don't run the program for a while, then start it up again, using the above chart
... do nothing
day20: follow 100: unfollow 500 from day 5-10
(and any other follows you may have performed manually)
So now the program will limit the daily unfollows to what you followed in one day from the next update.
This will *NOT* effect your existing actions, only new promo actions created. So you will have to delete your unfollow action and recreate as such
unfollow
max: 100 (or whatever your daily follows were set to)
unfollow after 7 days
bot follow sonly

Re: Search unfollow runs for days
Ok so when will you be releasing this update. I am still having the problem. I generally setup the campaign and just let it run for days. I never really turn it off and let in run in the background on my computermartin@rootjazz wrote:so it turns out the MAX value was not being set on the promo unfollows.

Re: Search unfollow runs for days
Should already be released.
But all you have to do, is recreate the unfollow routine
bot follows
after 7 days
max: 100
Not if following you: up to you if you want to or not
Or if you create a promo campaign then the above will happen automatically

Re: Search unfollow runs for days
Oh ok. After you originally gave me the fix for this I never got a notification that there was a update released like I have previously. I was waiting on that update before I recreated the campaign. I will do it when I get home tonight and see what happensmartin@rootjazz wrote:Should already be released.

Re: Search unfollow runs for days
It might depend what version you are getting notifications for: stable or testing.
The update would have gone to the testing branch
