IF you are running a FOLLOW action and have pre-actions set: like / retweet. Then it will use the most recent tweet of the PROFILE being FOLLOWED

I am not sure I understand. IF you perform a TWEET SEARCH for your action (like / retweet) then yes, that would be the tweet actioned and NOT the most recent.
