GeoSearch/Location Search

Post by henryr »

Hi Martin & Team,

How does the geo search work? I see when I try to run a process that has a geosearch search is says something about coordinates in the logs. Where do i put these in?

Thank you.

you enter a location

"london"

"21 the street, village, town, county"

"E1 4rd" - postcode / zip

or lat: long
12.412,498.23

etc

Thank you Martin,

Is it possible to combine it with following users who follow a certain account so:

Find followers of @XYZ who are located in "London"

or even better

Find followers of @XYZ or @ABC or @LMN, who are located in "London"

You definitely cannot do a followers of: in london search. But you can perform a query with geo location

Code: Select all

locale, query , search_type

where search_type can be: recent popular mixed (default: recent)

I just realised there is no "location" filter on user search, which would provide what you want with : followers of: location.

I will get this added
