Same here i cant get it to work
most of time i get * ERROR: Input string was not in a correct format.
So far nothing worked for me stast scrape,users scrape,post tweet,follow except creating the app which was successful.

Hello
Still unable to get it working, unisntalled, installed the new version 1005 same error.
Tried create app manually : *FAILED 938579832 Failed request token request
When i try automated way it say app was created successfully but nothing work, when i try follow it just say processing in processor but the log window is empty, other modules like scrape stats
Creating initial file:

also when i check the app that was made by bot the permission is read and write only

ok, well it seems the old issue is fixed. Now we move onto a new issue :(


Few questions


how did you generate the client keys? manually / automatically?

The keys are custom (set for the account in the account details popup) or via the SETTINGS tab (global keys)

The account is using a proxy?


ERROR: Input string was not in a correct format.

Unsure what / why this is. Adding more debugging to try and find out

No proxy
Also I'm little bit confused with the names in manual API details there i need enter Client ID and Client Secret is this same as Consumer Key (API Key) and Consumer Secret (API Secret)?
Also OAuth Key and OAuth Secret are Access Token and Access Token Secret
So i created app manually, changed permissions copied Consumer Key (API Key) and Consumer Secret (API Secret), then added twitter names/pass and click ok *Failed 454545478 failed request token request
also i checked email and no SMS from twiter as advised, so i copied Access Token Access Token Secret and added manually click OK and it looks like worked but still not single module works also when i double click on the account

App created successfully and authorized, double click on account worked and when i hit save i got message Bad User ID value -must be a number!

you are correct, I will change the terminology in the program to be correct

Client ID = Consumer Key / Api Key
Client Secret = Consumer Secret

Oauth Key = access token
Oauth secret = access token secret

ahhhhhh, ok things are becoming a bit clearer now. Double click the account to bring up the details, check the box "view advanced" (bottom left settings), screen shot the form and email it to me

But what do you have in the userId box? - (don't post it as it is private, but include in the email. I think this is the "input string is wrong format". So the question is, why does the program have an invalid user id? Did you manually think you had to set it? Or did the program scrape it wrong?


also i checked email and no SMS from twiter as advised, so i copied Access Token Access Token Secret and added manually click OK and it looks like worked but still not single module works also when i double click on the account
If I understand correctly, you created the CONSUMER KEYS / CLIENT APP KEYS / API KEYS (whatever we want to call it). This is adding your "API application" to apps.twitter.com.

Then, you AUTHORISED your account to these keys in apps.twitter.com manually as well? If so, I think this is the issue. As the error

implies the authorisation is wrong, which should be possible if the app authorises, either it fails or works, but not authorise to the wrong method. If you DID do this, can you:


1) note your consumer keys
2) add them to the SETTINGS TAB > GLOBAL KEYS box
3) IF your account is in the program, open it to view the account details, go to KEYS INFO / API KEYS INFO section (top right) and remove custom keys / oauth keys.
4) click save (check no verify)
5) In teh accounts list, check the account, then click the AUTHORISE ACCOUNT button

Then submit logs again.

I am experiencing the same issue. For the oAuth section you have secret listed first and then key. Is this correct?
