Gifs not uploading correctly

Hi,

I've noticed for a long time that gifs don't work when uploaded by twitterdub, I just double-tested it out with a folder containing only gif files and all of the gifs that have been uploaded don't work on Twitter, it's just a snapshot of the gif itself. So it doesn't move/play like the original gif if you know what I mean.

If you could look into it? or maybe I'm doing something wrong. I upload them through an "image tweet" process.

Ok, guess I found the problem, when I use watermark text the GIF uploads like an image, when I don't use watermark text it uploads correctly.
Watermark text doesn't work with gifs it seems.

If you still need gifs for testing I'll send you some if you like.

ahh yes that will be it. Watermark module so refuse to work with GIFs, I will flag that up

Hi Martin, Any update on this? not to rush you, but just curious Otherwise I"l leave the watermark text out of it or delete the Gifs from tweeting.

there won't be a "fix" as in, it will not watermark GIfs. It will just not attempt to if you try, so the unwatermarked gif will be uploaded.

but it's unlikely I get round to this, as it's not really urgent until I get back from holiday / vacation around the 24th
