Clarification for post scheduling

Post by DanyWyzy » Tue May 15, 2018 2:30 pm

Hi,

I would need some clarification regarding the scheduling of the posts (upload image), setting them to a specific date and time.

My set is one action for account.
If I set a specific time for uploading the photo, but I still have an action running, the image will be uploaded later, right?
Is there a way to prioritize uploading the photo at that specific time and pause other actions?

Thank you

I am not sure about your question -
But, what i understood - you have different upload image action in same time and you want to run those actions with priority.

No, currently this is not supported with our software.

It is what I meant.
We could hear Martin...
Having the ability to plan the posts would make sense if they are then loaded at the set time :)

You will need a spare thread in order to process your action at the schedule time.

Once the scheduled time has passed, the next available thread will be used for that action. There is no way to force a new thread to be created for a scheduled action I'm afraid.

If this is critical for you, then run the image posting actions in a NEW DB INSTANCE: For some info on custom db instances, check the thread

https://rootjazz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=874

Where there is always sufficient threads for the scheduled actions and use the other instance for whatever you are doing which is using all available threads

Martin
