Failed validate accounts login

Happy New Year everyone! I'm having trouble validating accs login. I've confirmed that the proxy and the account are both good by logging in via the "open session browser", but when I try to run the "validate accounts login" task, the task fails. This is the fail reason.

WARNING: failed to generate JSON string: Exception of type 'LibDatabase.ExDbActionFailed' was thrown.
Couldn't log in: Exception of type 'LibDatabase.ExDbActionFailed' was thrown.

Any intel on this?

clear logs:
HELP > LOGS > DELETE

run a clean login:

Goto the ACCOUNTS tab
Check the account
Right click the account and select DELETE COOKIES
Uncheck option to USE EXISTING COOKIES (if option exists)
Check Force (if option exists)
click the link VERIFY:LOGIN

This will create an action and send it to the PROCESSING TAB
Goto the processing tab and click RUN. The action will run.
You can double click the action to view the logs and submit logs.

If that doesn't resolve your issue, please submit logs:

HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

oh, you're using SCM. Normal login doesn't work currently. For information on using the browser to generate soundcloud cookies to use in other modules:

Additionally you have entered your username as:

$<username>
i.e.
$martin

This is not your username, remove the $
