Info: New GDPR

Post by snibi »

Hello Martin,

Just found out there is a new GDPR window:

Image

It affects actions and give an failed login.

had these days some of this:

"We've noticed some suspicious activity on your account. To help keep everything safe, you should definitely reset your password."

maybe it is in correlation with that or not.
Could be interesting an new indicator in the view accounts tab, or an auto reset pw and check mail for clicking link.
That would be awesome.

Do you have an account I can test to see the new GDPR screen

"We've noticed some suspicious activity on your account. To help keep everything safe, you should definitely reset your password."
Same with this, if you have an account (2 ideally) please export them and send them over. And submit logs showing this issue if you have them

HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

Accept request of the new form is complicated, might take a while to get it sorted. I'll keep you updated

So it looks as though the login is working but posting is not working on new accounts. Interestingly accounts that were already posting are still working for me.

something strange is going on with tumblr, things working differently for different accounts - perhaps the type of account? v1 v2 old yahoo accounts?

Is the GDPR a big issue for people? Those with 1-2 real accounts, can log in manually, those with 100s accounts, maybe can change IP?

The form is using a 3rd party consensus spec as detailed here: https://github.com/InteractiveAdvertisi ... 20Final.md

It is not just a click and be done, but generate an encoded string that is performed by the 3rd party and I've found no way to decode or generate it to spec. I will keep investigating but is hard to assign so much time to a program that unfortunately - whilst still used doesn't cover costs and requires the other programs to sell to allow me to keep maintaining it so it does get to a point I need to focus on the programs that actually sell rather than the one that doesn't.

If people aren't that bothered by it, then it doesn't matter. Just trying to get a feeling of the userbase waiting for / requiring this feature
