*** New tumblr site layout - program doesn't work***

Tumblr have updated their system / layout. It has COMPLETELY broken the program for accounts pushed to the new layout.

It is being analysed at the moment and updates will be made when ready

yes, it seems some functions have not been updated (yet). But I think they will at somepoint.

Probably updates will come piecemeal. So at least some working functions are better than none.

the tumblr update looks a bit like a shitshow. Some pages using new format, the post pages still on old system, the website seeminly gets confused what it is going. Single buttons redirecting to different pages rather than accepting the click onpage.

I have a feeling this isnt' going to bring back ex-tumblr.com user in droves, more like push away the last few remaining

Yes it looks like. The drop-down menu is different when you are on /dashboard or /settings/account

But tumblr is still grate place to get traffic from.

What we need the most is follow from list, reblog from list and post.

Yes still getting a lot of traffic from Tumlbr. I've also noticed a resurgence of adult content on there without any bans or hidden posts.

Would prefer to pay on subscription for a simplified program that could post, follow, reblog, scrape followers and mass update. I don't require any more than that.

luckily doesn't look like post or reblog have been updated. As those are quite big due to the posting types all requiring separate code.

But is proving difficult trying to work with old and new code for different functions, so things are getting messy. Would be better if they just made the complete switch to the new site then things would be much cleaner.
