TJ 1.9.6.3 Select All Accounts Problem

Post by snibi »

There is some problem, over different tabs with "select all" button of accounts,

it doesnt select the real account number, but ~2x the amount.

as example you have 113 accounts, doing select all it sometimes add up to double like 226.

also ends up with 226 in processor, doing actions theoretically two times.

Edit://
Now when i try to reproduce, it doesnt :)

I posted this issue, because i had it over different servers, with the same TJ version, on different instances.

will update when it will appear again.

Not entirely I understand what you were reporting when it did happen. If it happens again. Screenshots and specific instructions on how to replicate (or what you did if replication is not possible)

there are 1232 test accounts in the instance

after switching tabs and doing things sometimes when click at the bottoms "select all" for accounts, the "checked accounts" doubled up.
Image
which also leads to processor entries with "2464 accounts".

Yes, sometimes the selected number is double when clicking select all accounts.

Don't know yet if it actually uses the accounts two times in processor for the specified action.

No, it is just a label calculation issue. The value was currently at (x) but due to tab changing, nothing is selected but the label counter was not reset to zero, so when you select all, the counter is now at (x) x2.

Thanks for your reply, but are you really sure? It just happened to be double number of selected accounts,
what i did now, is a mass follow to processor, and did "edit action". Grabbed the lines ListAccounts: accounts,
and replaced "," with "\r\n". All accounts are doubled in here.

oh, if double is appearing in the file then it is not just a label issue.

I've tried to replicate it though, but cannot. Are you able to cause it with a specific set of instructions?

Let me try. But sounds like it was a very specific set of actions you performed that exposed the bug. With a potentially infinite amount of possibilities is going to be next to impossible I imagine for me to just randomly cause it.

The more information on what you were doing before will be useful. I understand it may be hard to remember, but as much as you can remember will help :)
