Embed Videos

Hi Martin,

Is there any way to post embed videos from a list using Tumbling Jazz? I've noticed videos get a lot more notes than photos and would be keen to start posting them without using storage space on my VPS.

There should be an option for posting video URLs. The menu option with an icon and youtube.

Just load in a list of URLs and tumjazz will post them. Whether tumblr.com will embed your video URL, will depend on the URL and tumblr.

I am also very interested in a feature that allows you to bulk embed videos as opposed to use their urls. I don't know if there is a way to do that. Tumblr is more video friendly with embed codes and the players tend to display more properly when embedded.

What do you mean? How can you embed a video if you don't have a video URL?

Sorry for the late reply on this one. We attempted to post embed video files to tumblr from tube sites such as pornhub xvideos etc.. using nextscripts wordpress plugin but found that the videos would not show on the dashboard / feed and could only be accessed via the archive. we've aborted this plan for now unless you can suggest a viable alternative? does posting from a URL using TJ make them show on the main feed? the main reason we want to get video content onto tumblr is because it goes viral as f*** compared to images

If it works in tumblr.com it should work in tumjazz.

So test it on the site. Depending on your account, whether is marked NSFW I would imagine effects things.
